The 1224 Automatic 3-Color Printing, Slotting & Die-Cutting Machine offers high-speed precision and energy-efficient production for corrugated packaging lines. Functional Configuration and Technical Parameters 


1. Paper Feeding Section

1.1 Machine Platform Combination
  1. Automatic Alarm Interlock System:
    Equipped with automatic interlock between the machine and front-end combined unit (plug-type safety switch, can be disconnected). Continuous alarm warning during feeding ensures operator safety.
  2. Pneumatic Locking Device:
    Locks the machine section with pneumatic cylinders for stable connection and smooth operation.
  3. Main Fan Motor Control:
    Adopts frequency converter for fan motor, enables smooth start, energy saving, and built-in overload protection.

1.2 Vacuum Paper Feeding System
  1. Vacuum Suction Feeding:
    7.5 kW fan power, adjustable based on paperboard curvature, maintains smooth paper feeding.
  2. Paper Feeding Transmission:
    Sheets are fed with transmission belts and driven synchronously with the machine for accurate alignment.
  3. Automatic Feeding Control:
    Front feeding platform adjustment with scale indicator, achieving simple and fast positioning.
  4. Front Feeding Edge Positioning:
    Pneumatic clamping system allows quick adjustment to paper width.

1.3 Dust Removal Device
  1. Equipped with a paper dust cleaning brush to remove paper fiber and surface dust, improving printing clarity and quality.

2. Printing Section (Optional 1–4 Color Printing) 

2.1 Printing Rollers
  1. Roller diameter 395 mm, total including plate 410 mm.
  2. Surface: ground and hard chrome-plated.
  3. Equipped with balancing correction for smooth rotation.
  4. Shaft mounted with precise bearing support for stable operation.
  5. Full gear engagement structure, adopts 9 mm hanging notch.
  6. Plate locking and roller reversal controlled by electric foot switch.
2.2 Feeding Upper and Lower Rollers
  1. Upper roller: Diameter 86 mm, thick-walled steel tube, quick change roller.
  2. Lower roller: Diameter 140 mm, thick-walled, surface ground and hard chrome-plated.
  3. Manual adjustment dial ranges 0–12 mm for thickness variation.
2.3 Anilox Roller
  1. Diameter: 180 mm (optional 180 / 200 / 220 / 240 / 260 mm).
  2. Surface ground, engraved steel roll, hard chrome-plated.
  3. Balanced transfer for stable and even ink distribution.
  4. Equipped with quick detach system for easy cleaning.
2.4 Rubber Roller
  1. Diameter 180 mm, rubber-coated surface, hardness 60–65 Shore.
  2. Precisely balanced for consistent ink film.
  3. High wear resistance, long lifespan.
2.5 Printing Register System
  1. Planetary gear transmission structure; computer-controlled 360° phase adjustment (can be adjusted during operation or stop).
  2. Manual longitudinal adjustment ±10 mm.
2.6 Ink Supply System
  1. Equipped with pneumatic diaphragm pump, ensuring stable ink circulation.
  2. Ink filter system ensures clean, even inking.
2.7 Lubrication System
  1. Mechanized lubrication with circulating oil supply, distributing oil evenly to all rollers.
  2. Significantly extends machine lifespan and stability.

3. Slotting Section

3.1 Knife Shaft (Lower Unit)
  1. Outer diameter 360 mm (excluding knife).
  2. Material: Ground and hard chrome-plated steel.
  3. Balanced for high rotation stability.
  4. Blade carrier fixed interval 50 mm × 50 mm.
  5. Suitable knife groove depth: 25.4 mm.
  6. Slotting blade thickness:
    • 16 mm for three-layer board
    • 13–15 mm for five-layer board
3.2 Cushion Roller (Upper Unit)
  1. Outer diameter Φ389.9 mm, material ground and hard chrome-plated.
  2. Balanced for stable rotation.
  3. Manual synchronization adjustment between knife and cushion rollers.
  4. Cushion thickness: 5 mm (outer diameter: Φ404.9 mm), width 250 mm.
3.3 Repair & Trimming System
  1. Automatic Compensating Device: 40 mm oscillating mechanism keeps equal abrasion across cushion roller, prolonging service life.
  2. Automatic Grinding Device: Improves cushion surface smoothness, extendable lifespan 3–4 times.
  3. Auto Rotation Compensation: Reduces wear at repeated positions to maintain uniformity.
3.4 Die-Cutting Device
  1. Modular exchange system for easy cylinder replacement, reducing downtime.
  2. Optional preprinted die with same accuracy but lower cost.
3.5 Transmission Section
  1. All gears: 40Cr forged steel, hardened, ground, and oxidized.
  2. Smooth transmission; hardness HRC55–60, low noise, long life, ensures color registration precision.
  3. Gear connection with keyless sleeve coupling, avoiding backlash and ensuring consistent accuracy.
3.6 Lubrication System
  1. Dual-gear oil bath lubrication.
  2. Circulating pump maintains oil balance.
